I assume by your above post you never crashed while racing Pete??????? "

But if we're gonna have a pissing contest...I also won a national title in my first and only season of road racing. Tell Dion to get back to me if he does.

I don't see anything mentioned about the age of bike, does that mean I can show up and try to qualify on my K3 GSXR?

Would be good if Jared Love got on one of the Hondas, John Ross will go good and it makes sense if he is with Ryan

Dion...I think you're getting a lil too precious. If you've in fact read everything I've said regarding your racing I'm sure you'll find it's been far from poison and smart ass. I'll say it again...I think it's awesome you're out there doing it, and you're doing it well. I personally think you're better off to ride the same bike for some time before changing though. But I hope the Beemer works out for you.

Don't think brad will race, he will probably do the canterbury rounds again. Shame that, cos he is a great rider. He is floating around here somewhere he will be able to tell you.

I was looking at a thou this year if they didn't change the rules, but now I can tinker more with the 600 so I will hold onto it for another season. Plus I tend to like starting from a new canvas, that way I know exactly what it has had done.
I think this is a good thing for Honda to do, first contingincy for some years I would imagine. The only thing is, with the current economic climate it is pretty hard going trying to get a dealer to buy a bike for you to race and thrash, really it has no benefit to them just naming rights to the bike.
As I said I was really disapointed to hear Honda weren't going to do anything for the 600 class especially when Jamie got a podium at the GP last year on the CBR.

Looks like most re going the Superbike way then aye, still would prefer to see one class rather than the machines split into two. The Superstockers will be the poor 2nd cousins and get limited TV etc.... ?
