    SOLD - 1985 XJ750 Police Special - SOLD

    SOLD

I am listing this bike on behalf of a friend.

Please pm me for contact details.

Reason for selling is the owner is 76 and no longer riding big bikes for extended periods.

Bike runs well (started and ran it this afternoon) although it could do with some new spark plugs. The cam chain is noisy, however, it still has plenty of life left in it. Battery is new. Exhaust system is in excellent condition. Tyres are in very good condition with very few km's on the front one. Manual included. Seat has been refitted (was originally a single seater) and is very comfortable for pillions.

This bike has been well looked after mechanically. Engine paintwork could do with some attention. Fairings and parts of the frame have been repainted. Electrics are all working although quite a few connectors are less than perfect. Bike is all white.

    Rego's on hold.

This bike won't take much work to get it looking great.

    $1000.00 as is.

    SOLD

Unless it is physically missing the adjuster should be on the back of the barrels in the middle between cylinders 2 and 3

I've got 2 shots, one of the bike and one of the dash. None of the better shots came out cos the battery in the camera didn't have enough juice left to power the flash.

The owner tells me he replaced the sparkplug on cylinder #3 yesterday and the bike runs perfectly so no need to replace anymore spark plugs.

UPDATE The owner informs me that it does in fact have an automatic cam chain adjuster. I misunderstood what he originally said.
