I dont' think it's funny, it's sad, it's pathetic.

And tonight I shall go to a party and see my 'friends' do the same, they'll smoke hooter, get trashed, do nothing with tomorrow except moan about how much they drank...and swear never to do it again and some of them will be doing it by Monday.....alcohol one of societies most damaging legal drugs!

LOL naughty naughty me - I feel quite told off now....actually second thought no I don't....Maybe I found the vids funny because I don't watch this kinda shit every weekend in my friends. In fact I choose not to hang out and get on the turps with people that fit into this 'category'.

I know a very large number of people and only three of those are hopeless pissheads....perhaps you could do with either a different party scene or some new friends Genie?

After working in bars for years you get to see it all, also see it sometimes at the public gardens during the day. I tell ya, that's awful, especially with my children seeing it.

As to who I associate with, that has changed but it's more what one sees when one goes to town, most of the ones in those states are under 25....it's insane.

As a wine store operator, I get to chuck out the odd drunk as well...

One old bastard came lurching through the door one afternoon, bounced off the door jamb and slurred.."Washsya sheeepest cazzzk gwine..?"

Me: "Sorry, Sir, we don't do anything cheap...$20.00 is the price for cask wine"
Him: "Twenny dollizhzh? I cnnn geddit for for for $15 up the hillll..."
Me: "Well sir, why don't you walk on up the hill then? I'm sure the walk will do you good!"
Him: Yeh bit bit bit wazzI wanna know izz WHyja do it? Whysha charggge zo mush?"
Me: Well, it keeps pissheads like you out of the shop for a start, dunnit?"
Him: I beennn in in alllgaholic alll me life"
Me: "Yes sir. I can see that sir!"

And so it went on until I finally got the old bastard to leave. He never came back.

I have refused to supply one person whom I thought was abusing alcohol to the extent that she was damaging her health and putting her kids' welfare at risk. I told her that too. Sure, she goes somewhere else but I don't have to be party to putting kids at risk. The longer I am in the trade the worse I think the drinking culture in New Zealand is. Maybe I'm turning into a wowser...

Post 1: at least he knew those danged things belonged on his feet despite them not being quite within reach most of the time
Post 2: the only thing missing was the projectile vomiting to complete the picture
Post 3: two step forward, ten back

Seen heaps of video clips of squirrels and raccoons suffering the effects of fermented go juice, and I remember one of our dogs being completely pickled after eating the fermented figs under our tree - she was totally wasted.
