My $640K house may need to be demolished (2 builders say so, hoipe the insurance company thinks so too), and what worries me most is that the screen on my bike broke when it fell off the centre stand.

    Shaky Isles, ain't they.

Sorry to hear that... I managed to have a bike vs car in my own garage while they were both parked! It'll only cost me a clutch lever though so not nearly as bad as many....

Mine went over, Thunderbird fell onto right side. Left it for a few hours before checking as I was scared what I might find. No damage though which was a bonus. It had a cover on it & it landed against a pile of wood that had fallen off a shelf in the shed.

    WEll done, that's great news.

No one thinks Dangerous callamity was with real bikes?

    They're just plastic models right?

The car key and spanners were disproportionally too large?
(apologies if I got it wrong)

    HOW could you !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

You bloody spoil sport. This thread had the makings of a good Sunday laugh.

I did wonder about the size of the spanner, especially as I couldn't see any Harleys in the garage.

Damn I was just thinking of putting an offer on them, thought they'd be handy for parts.

The big spanner was for the Goldwing .... The Harley only requires a BIG hammer ...

    how good was that!

How incredible that a shake of that magnitude caused so little death and injury! Really in most places this would be a huge crisis! Maybe it is all the churches in chch..!
