I live in Wallaceville, Upper Hutt too and have heard of some dodgy shit going on round the streets. Please go to the Cop Shop AFTER you have named and shamed this toerag..

A few months ago some freak dumped a stolen bike & blitzed through our yard to jump the rear fence + we got woken up 3am by some shitstains trying our front & rear doors so i raced outside with my axe 'as you do' & found their shoes & sunnies (cos you need them at night eh).

I reported it but kept the shoes & sunnies for proof of fingerprints if they tried again.

You need to report this and allow the Police to investigate and confirm if it was this same person as on the CV.

My ute has been done twice in Silverstream (Upper Hutt). Eight juveniles were arrested for the first occurrence, only Wilful Damage. The second event has yet to be resulted, gutted the inside of CD's, Tools, Stereo etc.

There would be around 20 people in our street that would be appreciative of your efforts in reporting this gentleman (filthy scum sucking low life). He may not be linked to our events, but I for one bet he mixes in the same circles....

If they tip his flat house etc over I bet ya he has more stolen kit.

My brothers Surf was nicked recently in Silverstream too. Makes ya wonder what's the point in living in a nice area when all these little fuckers keep uckin with ya shi. Mother uckers......

Seriously, the cops/insurance guys have said there is a lot happening in the Hutt Valley atm, so by reporting him you may get some of us an opportunity to get some of our gear back, in our case including all of my wife's jewellery including engagement ring.

i think the only thing i agree with national on is that we need more prisons.

the americans are onto it. venture onto the wrong property unwelcomed and you'll be shot. three felony convictions and you're away for 25 years or so.

TBH since the burglary, my attiutde to law breakers has hardened to a large degree. While conversely my respect for the police has increased.

I'm just sad they didn't come back, as we were ready for them this time, laws be damned, they would never have walked or practised procreating again by the time I had finished with them.

Regardless of your views on which crimes should result in which sentences, the last thing you want is a prison system like in the US. A privitised prison system has resulted in a very strong prison back 'sensible sentencing' lobby not for the social good, but because longer sentences means more business for those who build and run the prisons. The laws need to be objectively looked at by the lawmakers and judges, not by those who have a multi billion dollar business based around prisons.
