I went via sumner over the sumit road to the kiwi then down to govners, then around to the weatsheaf yesterday, apart from a few new bumps in the road at avondale, no difference. weatsheaf was open with the usual tractors parked up, and I did see a certain yellowish old 3 wheeler on the road at 12.30pm. ya didiint wave Flip ! LoL. Took another pootle around leeston ,sprinfeild, burna,m and green park today, nothing out of the ordinary there either. Hoprfully others can shed some more light on other roads for you.
    mmm.... roll on daylight saving.....

According to the city council website: Sumner Road from Oxford Street to Summit Road is currently closed. We rode to Akaroa last weekend, except some distorted surfaces just outside of Halswell, the rest of the way to Akaroa was just the usual.

Gebbies was ok on Sunday apart from a 30km/hr marked corner heading up to the summit had half the road coned off because of subsidence so more care needed at what is already a dangerous corner.

No it got intoxicated (pissed) by the leavings (half empty cans) and joined the party the oddly clad humans on those two wheeled vehicles were holding in proximity to its nesting ground.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

You lucky buggers, I'll be busy rehearsing all weekend but that at least means I get to play Disco at very loud volumes! It's even more fun to play than it is to dance to

What, did someone say oil debate... there's a good one going on in the Adventure Forum as we speak.

I was getting mine from Don at Pit lane but since he's closed at this moment I'll probably go down to Budget MC Spares in Wilsons Rd for my next Oil & Filter combo.

Repco sell Castrol 4T motorcycle specific oil, or if you're not into Castrol (and given the state of Manchester street at the moment) Budget Motorcycles probably have something suitable.
