I have no dance class in d'Auckland this Sunday. And the weather is gunna be fine (supposedly anyway). And there are about three rides that I could go on...
So what happens?
Herself decides that because there is no class, we have to practice anyway. Which is fine with me. BUT. She wants to practice right bang in the middle of the friggin' day. Which chops right into the middle of any of the orgamanised rides, dunnit?
So I spose it's another solo ride for the slow old fox and a shorter one than preferred as well....
Anybody got a nice scenic 200km ride to suggest for me? I'm getting sick of the same old routes all the time...
Be pleased when the friggin dance season is over...![]()

No ride planned as many people are taking the opportunity of a fine Sunday to do their own things, or bikes are off the road, people out of town, or doing other rides like the Ulysses 500 mile ride (meet at Tristram street petrol station 6.30 am) etc etc. Personally I am looking at joining the mag-nz rally in Auckland. Be at BP Papakura 10.30 and then afterwards maybe watching the 250 flash around puke. Wife dependent of course.
If you are riding this weekend have a blast and be safe.
cheers

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
When you get to Waitomo caves where all the tourist bits are carry on to where you meet up with SH3, you will see across the road to your right a road called Hangatiki Rd follow this over the railway lines where it will now turn into Old Te Kuiti rd, the 2nd road on your right is a road called Mangarino Rd follow this for 10km which brings you into Te Kuiti, you now have the option of hooking up with Rangitoto Rd which will lead you onto Barber Rd & into Otorohanga OR you can boogie along Otewa Rd,alternatively if you are heading back to Hamilton from Te Kuiti follow SH3 North for @ 2-3km turn left onto Oparure Rd then right onto Fullerton Rd which will take you back to Waitomo Caves where you can follow Waitomo Valley Rd into Otorohanga & take SH39 home

Why is it, that when I can finally see an uncommitted Sunday, NOBODY is going for a rideI've cleared the windfall trees, we've had the sheep shorn, I've mowed the lawns, serviced her car, finished outstanding work, don't have to fly out on Sunday for more work, filled the bike with fuel --- why is life so bloody contrary

Some of the details for the mag-nz rally Sunday. Its in the calendar as well
There may also be noise and smoke, certainly there will be live music, including a newly released MAG-NZ Anthem.
Spot prizes, including a free Track Day will be awarded for existing members (make sure you register at the venue to get in the draw) and for those who sign up on the day, so make sure you bring your $20 and come along and join in the fun.
After the formal part of the day we are heading to Pukekohe Racetrack, where AMCC are holding an Advanced Rider Training Track Day. Here we can see how this training works, and watch a few sessions on the track. Members will not be able to go onto the track on the day, but will be able to get up close and personal with the trainers and participants

I have keys!
Lost my key couple of weeks back. Im sure its somewhere in the house. Was gonna cost quite a bit to get some cut unless i had the code. Problem was the code is behind a lock
Finally managed to get around the lock today so for $25 i have 2 keys and some concerns over how easy it was to do it!
Bring on summer riding.
Weyhey - and you didn't even have to tidy up your bedroom to find it.
