And off we go ladles and germs!

Seems like it has been forever since I did this! So tomorrow, 4th October Monday ...

The Hornet Swarm Night City Ride is back on again! Due to the lovely daylight savings we are now having ... we will meet EARLIER than the 1st post time now!

6.00 PM outside the Auckland Public Library in Lorne Street

So, come one, come all - just an easy, quiet ride - decided by collective vote on the night. All topped off with dindins and possibly some ice slushies at BLUSH (or some new locality!)

And oh yeah .... ice cream

See you there (or mayhap, just me! )

No worries matey, will be plenty of more ride meets to come! You get that assignment done and dusted!

Right, time for me to go and suit up and ride to the meet point! (not a good look if ride captain is late for the kick off! )

    Great night!

Well, for the first Hornet Swarm Night Ride - it was a nice sedate affair. Rode to the Library and surprise surprise! Two I didn't really expect already waiting!

    zeocen and Gale_Wolf!

Shortly arriving was Sharry on the only Hornet

And a noisy guest appearance was made by the dynamic duo of rie and dushy! Nice! They weren't riding, but just having a look see and a quick howdy-do. Dushy was wearing the new Revu helmet with rear facing mirror gadget. Very trick! Will be interested in the write up he will do tonight apparently!

Anyhow, TOTO turns up and we all ride to Daikoku for an early dinner. Much laughter and chatting ensued. Lots of jokes about licking octopus and honda rider balls abounded! (that takoyaki is always a hoot for conversations!) I scoffed my Combo B meal of curry rice and a nice bowl of ramen. Zeocen was classic with his line "where's my damn food!?" and the poor waitress suddenly pops up and says "it won't be long!"

Eventually we head off down Tamaki drive to the St Heliers GP and off to Meadowlands in Pakuranga for MoMo teahouse. Natas and ice frapps all around please! TOTO outdid himself by having two drinks and Gale_Wolf suffered brain freeze!

Anyhow, that was the end of the ride and amazingly .. zeocen completed a full ride for once! Will wonders never cease?

Thanks all, it was great to be in fab company again and spend the majority of time having a catchup over luffly food and slushys.

I have an awesome bubble blower in my top box, that I no longer need, awaiting to give you gale_wolf. It makes the HUGEST bubbles your kids will have ever seen.

Abd that brain freeze was just sooo funny

Oh cool, thanks Sharry The kids will indeed love the bubble blower and they loved those fat drinking straws. Such simple amusements!

As for the brain freeze... I took the kids there today. Slushies were enjoyed, a big mess was made, more fat straws were taken home. Oh, and 1 junior brain freeze occurred
