That's true to an extent but I read somewhere that the optimum temperature for those bridgestones is well above 100c and the warmers would be about 70-80c so there is still a fair bit of temperature missing when they go for thier warmup lap.
Having said that, you would think that he would have crashed on one of the first corners rather than the last if his tyres weren't up to temperature.
