I'm still undecided... I've been a WIMA supporter for years but if the sun is out??? Guys why don't we weave the WIMA ride into it... its all over by midday and a quick fun ride after that is a good recipe.

Guys, what a fun ride yesterday. Everyone rode well and no silly buggers or lunatic (oh I guess I was there wasn't I ). Thank you for indulging my trip to the painters, I hope that Paparoa rd was a good enough reward

Summer riding season is definitely here, I couldn't beleive how many bikes I came across on the way home through old north et al.

See you after Philip Island (will miss next week as I'll be roaming the pits trying to get some tips so I can keep up with you guys )

Well on the bright side you now know that your tyres are capable of feedback, must give you more confidence when they are silent

Ignoring the shoddy lines, how close is this rFactor version of Taupo to the track in real life?

Yeah pretty close.. but there a a couple of variations of course (Track 1-5). This just shows one of them. the fences are not there as well, thank God.

The 19th is Track 5 I believe Track 5 which you will find only really differs because of the T14 Wiggle placed into the back straight.

Its a nice track.. no elevation involved but a lovely track with some reasonably technical skill level, but not hamptons. Good traction once the early sessions are out of the way (gets chalk dust on it with the wind and takes a while to "sweep" in the first few sessions). You'll love it... hadn't realised you've never been on Taupo.. Good to see you've been studying up

One of the reasons why I decided to stay in the slightly more sedate group while learning the track
