I have new bike, envy meeeeee

She's sooooooo purty and needs a "Doug will polish your ass" type of loving moment. (Most of my female companions have been like that too)

Well, hello there my little toy.....
Needs new brake pads for a WOF. Oh how sad...... I have new pads in the garage....
Small dent in the tank, crack to the tail fairing, scuffed to buggery crank case cover and I just fixed one of the indicators. All superficial damage. Runs very very nice, had to give it a tiny bit more idle screw and it purrs happy as Laraldo would, if he purred.

Looks like a neat little bike. Should not be too hard to tidy up either.

got the USDs on the BROS now if only the throttle cables reached to the fatbars I could go for a ride and test it out

anyone know of anyone local that can build up cables to suit?

Thanks! It's going to be superbly easy to do.
I've discovered it has a brand new Reg/Rec in it, always nice to know with a Honda of this age (Bogan can vouch for this ) also has a new fuel tap/shut off valve. Another common problem.

Ask at some of those bike shops? Bit of duct tape and she'll be right bro.
Pics? Bros + USD front = big chumpy.

yeh, found a cable place down in welli that specialize in em and bit cheaper, also a guy on the hawkgtforum offered to send me a longer clutch cable he doesn't use, so if the measurements check out

at the risk of stating the obvious (or maybe not so obvious as my flatmate didn't recognise it) its a somewhat modified version of the honda wing logo. As the bros wheel is single disk and forks have an extra caliper mount, I reckon leving the holes empty looks fugly so did that instead

course the alternat answer could be that with the superior handling, extreme lean angle will ensue, and I can perhaps now flip any eggs and/or bacon that is left on the road

edit: goddamit, it really does look like an egg slice, i fear i will have to explain it many many times

How is the Bros liking the sport demons? I see you have the 17 inch front and rear, mine had the expensive and silly 9yet sexy) 18 inch rear, nice and white to get dirty intantly....

    Should I get rim stripes?

well sticky enough for the use I give em, pity its mostly commuting, bonus is with the lazy power curve (lazy cos it gives up and fucks off half way through ) it doesn't wear em out quick. Got rid of the chicken strips going ove the kaimais though, real nice high speed corning road with awesome surface on it too Yeh the later model came out with 18 or something and rims different style than the egg beaters too eh? Oh gawd, I got egg beaters to go with my slice

Only on whit rims, and only if theres a subtle design in there, like checkered rim stripes on pearl whit rims, otherwise it just looks too ricer I reckon.

I really need to ride your Bros, just purely for research reasons of course
Yeah the rims were completely different to the egg beaters.
Bet the Kaimais were a good giggle! I'm still attempting to refrain from going for a spin on the CB
Maybe I will stay away from rim stripes for now, not a fan of ricer bikes....or cars...

well I've already rode your CB, so it'd only be fair. Yeh the kaimais isn't your typical kiwi road, is smooth as, passing lane all the way uphill, real fast flowing windy corners, apparently you can even get a good view of surrounding land up there, didn't notice that myself though...
