Get out and ride to fill the time. Koroj and I did a Wairarapa ride Sunday morning - 266Kms in the rain and got home early afternoon, it was great. Building ride fitness is a great excuse to get on the road.

yeah it is, just had to recover from sickness first, already done a few short rides and one longer ride planning to do a long ride once a week with a few nites of shorter rides in between .. just not quite enough hours in the day at the mo .. but daylight savings is just around the corner

Well, I managed to have a look around Ohingaiti area after spending a few nights in Ohakune I some how managed to miss the turn off before the pub but carried on to vinegar hill where I turned off & followed through to Cheltenham then up to Kimbolton/Pemberton as I was in no rush to get to Wgtn to park up scooter before heading down to Christchurch for a work workshop, Now I have got back to Wgtn I have walked into the storm of the year for this region, was keen to head home today but it looks like I'm once again going no where BUGGER !!! Oh well, looks like I will have to park up for a few more days I hope work can cope without me for a day or two more

Yeah, it's an easy turn off to miss, hardly sign posted at all. Still, Vinegar Hill and then back up to Pemberton the roundabout way isn't a bad ride

For sure. Now the GC is over, I guess I better start getting sorted for this.

We did the Napier-Wairoa road at night on the GC and it was a bit messy from the storms last week, but I expect it will be cleaned up by the 6th. ....I love that road!

We currently have 43 + 1 possible and there are usually a few who enter at the last minute.
