Thumbs up Right from the Horses mouth

In a bit of a roundabout way, it is my pleasure to announce that all things being equal Hitcher will be discharged home tomorrow

Visited last night and Hitcher has been moved to a Low Stimulus area.

He may be discharged today but that isn't certain yet.

Short term memory loss is quite pronounced but as he isn't panicky by nature and he's clever enough to bluff his way through most things staff are being very thorough with neuro-obs.

Glad they are being thorough. Would hate ta think what may occur if he manages to "Buff" his way home before it is safe for him to do so. Head trauma can be so tricky.
In saying that I do hope he is healing well and ready to go home when it is safe for him to do so.

In follow up to this - just had a message from Mrs H (aka Jane) and she said he is not being discharged right now - maybe in a couple of days - they are talking about possible transfer to Wellington prior to going home.
