Ditto. I worked for a couple of years in a bike shop and found the same thing. I also enjoy that having left I no longer feel obliged to have so much loyalty to a specific brand and am thinking of switching back to a Guzzi. Or maybe I might even get a Japanese bike.

Put the whole lot into storage, rent your house out and go oveseas for a couple of years, tour around Europe in a Kombi van....worked for me.

Theres nothing quite like not knowing whats going to happen tomorrow....

Well, I've made a passion a job and it worked for me .. but a hobby ? No way .. that's the quickest way to kill of that interest ....

Loved photography - but worked in the media taking photos - killed off that hobby ... I never took a picture on holiday and I rarely carry a camera these days except for work ..

If you want to keep with bikes - drop it as a job .. if you're losing interest in riding that's my suggestion ... Many bike sales people I know go dirt riding or track racing , not road riding ... but if you're losing interest - lose the job ..

same thing happened to me, self employment and 3 kids eats into your time, bikes arnt much use when you have to cart a family about, unless your in india, now the boys are older we have more time.
