    Crosby book launch at the Leigh Sawmill

    Worth a ride up perhaps? - up SH16 to Wellsford, Whangapiro Valley Rd to Matakana and on to Leigh - if you have a couple of hours to spare.

    I will have a some race bikes on display and will take you through

    a few stories that will give you an insight into what life, as a racing

    Grand Prix rider, was really all about.

    That last little bit is uphill gravel but I will be there, be taking the scenic coastal route.

    I would go just to see another TDM let alone attend the book launch

    That might be pretty cool. How much to get into the book launch? There's a nice camp ground just up the road from the sawmill and its pretty cheap for the night too if you wana stay the night.

    This Sunday at 3pm people. I've read the book and its a bloody good read, very funny. My wife is now reading and enjoying it - which surprised me because she is not into motorcycle racing at all, so the book obviously has much wider appeal than just Croz fans.

    I'm half way through my copy. It is a very good read. Lot's of things I didn't know about Croz's career.

    It was a good afternoon at the Sawmill Cafe yesterday afternoon. A nice ride and definitely looks like a good spot to go for lunch.
