Oh yeah I forgot I blabbed to you. Dropped it off today, said he will pick it up in a few weeks and to ride it as much as I like.

Will take the camera tomorrow for some arty shots.

    I think it stays open.

    And I don't mean road works speed...30kph...

I'd say...no, mine was all done at 110km/h

Well the plan is to mountain bike for a while, get the DR250 tuned (idling -> ~3k rpm ok with choke on, just needs some love with rest of range). If this doesn't get it sorted I'll just save my pennies for a year or two and buy something DR-Z400E/WR250R ish. $50/week going into fund as we speak...

If there is any problems with it, I have a mate who bought one for $800 & it turned out to be a bit rooted with unobtainable parts & ended up costing him heaps so you could use the parts off that.

    No wait - hang on......
Good call! Yeah I saw it was and I felt very it's about how much a good running one should cost/be worth.

    Weeknight rides would be cool...

All I can say is Maunga-feecking-tapu baby

Went over there for the first time in over a year & man it is superb!!! The other side is real rocky but this side is graded & best of all has jumpos on the first uphill - yehaa.

It was a great ride & luckily uneventful.n I managed to get under the wire rope pretty easily.

I will def be doing this as an evening weekday ride

Luckily I called the NADS emergency response team.

After they ordered the pizzas, ate the pizzas, discussed the various toppings of the pizzas, looked out the window to see the rain starting - they decided to come & help me

Seriously tho thanks guys it was a great help & sorry we didn't have to use the ropes & pulleys.

So who wants to have a go at riding Teetotal up St Arnaud today?

You'd also get to have a go on a classic MXer too

I'm out. I may go back & try to find my rego this morn- hopefully it's not too slippery.

Have a good time. BTW isn't teetotal a MTB track? Or is the MTB track on teetotal reserve? Either way the locals put a bit of time into that.
