I went to the station to get my w o F!
Cutie behind the counter said her name was beth
She said she could book me in very soon,
I said that be great I got a busy afternoon,
A date with you and me and the back room,
The tester came out, he said my ride was sick
Good try ho-mo but I still hate you dick
He rode off on my bike, left me with beth
I said ho you make higher than crystal meth
I whispered in her ear to make her smile
sumthing about getting down on my shag pile,
The tester came back he said something ain't right
little wear on your front tyre and a broken light
No one else has failed it, you're makin' me sweat
he just looked at me and said 'it's just who you get'.
[QUOTE=imdying;1129922512]That sums it up.
The only fail here is riding a bike with all of those faults.
You can get yourself a trailer number plate light from pretty much any auto parts store. Wire the two wires from it to your taillight (not your brake light!) and you're done. They're ugly, but cheap and easy to fit/remove.
thanks for the idea... ill look into it
here is the photos of the rear..

there is not white light under - and didn't have a problem without one, ...... just note to self never be the first person at 7am to get a WOF
Basically... yeah! How indeed?! On the one hand, we have people whinge that paying for a WOF is a joke because they don't check everything perfectly, and on the other, people that bitch when they get failed on basic items like this. I for one never want to be a WOF inspector.
From what I recall there isn't a clear portion there; the owner was lamenting Honda's trick of using weird clips and plastic pieces molded into the fairing to retain the taillight... apparently after 21 years it's all a bit brittle.
It's no biggy OP, just fit a light and you're off. If you're desperate for a warrant, steal a push bike front light from your mum and tape if above the plate.
