Maybe eggs on toast but.....spread a drop or two of detergent on a slice of toast before dropping the egg on top, then if he is in the mood to make up instead of fighting, he will be grateful for the eggs and will eat them without a complaint.... irrespective of the taste...

Hopefully after a few months have gone by he would have forgotten all about it. I guess it just goes to show you how much he cares for you as you wouldn't like it if he didn't give a toss.
You in yourself thought you were doing the right thing giving him time to spend with his son but just the not knowing if you were ok while you were out just changed the whole out look of your absence.
None of us a perfect as we all make mistakes sometime in our lives but as long as you still have each other that should be all that really matters.

Maybe I don't get it? We haven't been together that long, and it can't be easy for his children being with us every weekend, sharing their Dad with me when they used to have him all to themselves. It was the first time that there was 1 kid instead if 3 kids and I thought the youngest would value the time alone with his Dad. I thought they would do something fun together.
I was wrong apparently - they shouldn't have been counting the hours I was away. They should have been doing father/son things.
