    Where everyone gets a bargain!

The Warehouse is selling a Mini Motor Bike. What's happening to this industry?

I wonder who will be willing to service it when it spits the dummy? Or maybe its just a use and abuse and you'll get what you pay for?

    More competition for our dealers...

Do you think they'll do a part exchange for my Harley?

They've tried that once before, it turned to custard for them as they broke after 5 minutes and nearly every one came back! Maybe they've got a better model this time?

The one shown is much better quality than the last time they did them. Trust me on that. Looks better than a lot of the tardme ones too.

It's not competing with dealers at all really. Whole different pricepoint.

I'd hardly be worried about competition for the stealers. $600 is a lot to pay for something that is likely to fall apart/you're unsure of it.

In all reality, it will bring more people into the market and do dealers a favour in the long run, the people that do buy it i'd say would'nt have bought a bike at all otherwise and it will be an impulse purchase. They may then find they like it and get a proper bike later on.

Happened with me with my mini chopper. If I had'nt bought that i'd not be into bikes now.

Yep! They'll give you a hundred bucks for the Harley and you can pay the rest off over twelve months...

The only good little Chinese dirt bike I've come across is the PY90 that Sulco sells.

This is whithout a doubt the dumbest thing they've yet to do.

The problem is that your typical warehouse customer who purchases these absolute pieces of shit knows nothing about motorcycles or anything mechanical for that matter. The stores will once again be overrun by warranty claims, the remaining stock will be removed from sale and destroyed.

Yep the last lot all got recalled in the end, they were very cheap and even more nasty, but then again what could you expect for $299

These don't look too bad, almost worth thinking about for 600 bucks......

I tend to agree, but we sold a fair few of the PY90's when I worked for Sulco and got good feedback from customers as to how tough they were. Sulco are still selling them, so I assume the little bikes have proven themselves over the years.

Agree. I bought a PY50 and it's a PW50 to the extent that all PW50 parts fit it perfectly. It has been rolled, bowled, and arseholed and it goes mint still. The kids love it.

I think I can remember when you bought it. You posted about it at the time somewhere... I was amazed at how those wee bikes stood up to abuse! Adults were thrashing them around as much as their kids were! I'd call back on my rounds and not one customer returned or complained about the PY90. I was wary of selling the other bikes though.
