    Interorter/Bluedredge?

    Anyone just rock up to the jetty and get a ticket, or does that not work for financial/availability reasons?
    Ive always bought tickets in advance before but want to be flexible without buying an expensive flexi-ticket...
    cheers

    You can for Interislander, dunno about the other lot. The staff at the terminal counters can make bookings and take your money.

    But there's no guarantee that there's space. And even if there's space for you, no guarantee that there's space for your bike.

    There's an 0800 number you can call - google it - they'd be able to check space availability for you.

    (
    They do "yield management", which means tickets bought on the day will be more expensive. It's not like they say "oh, we have space left, you can have it at half price".
    )
    Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.

    Done it heaps of times, only time it's likely to bite you on the arse is some peak holiday times
