1989 Gpx250f ex usa so speedo in miles now done 25500

Repaint White by previous owner, I'v had it since this March and the paints getting shabby so it was not a professional job.

I have had installed a ex250j model rear shock, feels lots better than the one that was in it when I got it.

Has Yoshi exhaust, unsure if its just a can but suspect its the full length. Quite loud.

Aftermarket flush mount front indicators to replace stick out stalks that look ugly from factory. Jap rear light, coloured red with orange instead red all round.

Pirelli Sport Demons front & rear.

Planning some nice new brake pads all round soon, any good ideas on pads ?

Could just take the money I'd spend and buy a nicer bike... I reckon that's probably what I'll do.

Well here's my little Black Beast. Must say that they look good in white!

First pic, only had the tinted bubble screen on, what a difference that did make. Surprising.

Second pic was just after the boys fitted the new noise maker....lovin it!

Got the boys to tidy up that spade on the rear, fitted a single seat cowl thingy whatsit and fitted some new tyres...just loving this bike, don't care what I spend on it, it's mine and it's not going anywhere.

Once I've finished titivating this one I'll just buy me another new one to play with/on. Two is always better then one, and then I may even go to three!

Genie where did you get your rear seat cowl? been looking for one for mine for a while and couldn't find one in NZ? The new shorty is bloody loud, guy who made it said it didn't need to be re jetted but whenever i throttle off in second third or fourth it backfires a little so... still sounds wicked

Got the seat cowl through Filco's here in Nelson...give them a call 03 5472420, they can get them in other colours too and they're fast - two days!!!

Definately go for the rejetting thing, some needles need to be adjusted and the bike will need a wee tune-up, apparently doesn't matter if it's not done straight away, mine's not getting done until 12000k service but it does need to be done. I bet yours is loud, mine is too!!!
