now im back to the unconfident stage, cant corner for shit, and general sucky riding... oh wait nothings changed?

but on a more serious note now to learner level again but with a few extra ponies, and 4cyl really does sound better than two!
    1. Nice bike
    2. How much debt are you now in?!
    3. Sweet bike

very nice dude, take it easy, 4x more ponies will get you into trouble 16x faster.

    but it's 1.6*10^60 times funner.

yes shes a very very quick bike, so far im only using 1/6th of the throttle and its really fast, bit to scared to take it over 10k
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

    It's actually 1.1*10^4 funnier.

So does that mean that there will be beer and strippers at the honda shop Dave?

But saying that, there are bugger all big straights on the routes we take so sticking with the people at the back is not too tricky. Just don't push that wee scorpio too hard, as she may blow up!
Yeah, I don't have a problem going over 70, and I also plan on sitting my restricted as soon as the bike is rideable again, so that shouldn't be an issue.
As far as not pushing the Scorpio too hard, I was rather surprised at how effortlessly I can cruise at 100 on it - I'm very big and heavy, and the GZ250 I had a few years back could only manage about 95 if I went anywhere near a mild incline or headwind.

Oh, and this IS supposed to be the Learner friendly ride in Christchurch.
Hang near the back, you'll find the other novices and laid back, relaxed riders and there are some there. (not counting the ones that tear off out riding their skills chasing the ones that just want to go fast).
Yeah, I just got the bike a couple of weeks ago, so I need to get it all checked out, and get it a service. At the moment the front brakes are pretty marginal as the brake fluid reservoir is nearly empty, and although I could just refill that myself before taking it for it's service, I think there's something dodgy with the front wheel or suspension - it basically feels like the front wheel is shimmying side to side.

So yeah, not at all keen on riding it till it's been checked out by a professional, cause it was scary as hell going down Moorhouse surrounded by traffic the other day when the front wheel started feeling like it wasn't properly attached to the bike.

If Hondas are ghey, then Honda strippers may only appeal to a certain persuation of the population........

No rain forecast for this evening, good times. She'll be a bit blustery though. Do we know where we're off too? Or is the decision being made once at the carpark?

Wherever we go I'll need to have room to pushstart the bike. Yep, I've managed to root the battery in the *other* bike now

Any idea where you are going?

Looks like I will be stuck at work for another couple of hours and might head off if I know where you are going?
