No. The Bandit is a GSF, this ones a GSX.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

All I will say is that it is a VERY nice motorcycle, and looks bloody good with the Leovince muffler!

Candy Indy Blue it is. 19 litres fuel capacity and 1255cc of motive power.

It is a Suzuki GSX1250FA ST, sometimes known in some markets as a GSX1250SA.

It is not a Bandit. As well as the faired front end, the instrumentation, front suspension and radiator (size & number of fans) are all different to its more famous brother.

It is/was New Plymouth Motorcycles' demonstrator with about 1,000km on its clock.

I am greatly looking forward to meeting it personally and riding it.

Popped into Wellington Motorcycles the other day and was very taken by what I think is the exact same thing. They had it parked by the front door, and on my way out I had to stare at it for a while.

Very nice. (And not a bad price compared to some of the other stuff around.... such as many mentioned in this "take a guess" thread.)

    Nice!
I could've sworn Bandit's had a faired version, in fact I thought Princessbandit's one did. Argh I have no idea, it's a beautiful bike anyway!
I agree on the price part also. Certain other Japanese brands should seriously take note.
