On twisty tarseal it was glorious, heaps of grunt for a 250, delivered nicely via the YPVS, good brakes, real easy to ride fast through corners. Not so flash for touring, 130km ish tank range & by that stage your arse needed a break from the seat anyway.

The TZR based engines were apparently a total handgrenade though, mine lunched itself 2 weeks after I sold it.

Puch twingle - amazing. SIngle two stroke with two pistons sharing common combustion chamber. Rear piston handles intake & front piston exhaust. Conrods piggybacked off crank.

Great fuel efficiency however couldn't rev out that well.

Wow, so the pistons move up and down together or alternately? I presume it would have to be together.

Check out the angles of the conrods, they reach tdc at different times so are slightly offset.

Furiously trying to figure out how this works.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

I don't think they do. I think they reach TDC at the same time & some trickery is done at the crank.

Some are twin sparked as well. Check them out on Wiki.
