You don't have to wait for a trackday, you can go out there any Tuesday or Friday
    $50 1/2 a day

Phone the circuit to make sure it is available: this time of year is really busy out there. 3496003

There is an open day (cars and bikes) organised for this Wednesday. 10am until 4pm, $50. No bike check or gear check (AFAIK, I'm assuming it's being run like a normal open day), no need to remove anything or tape/lock wire anything either. You are responsible for any damage to the track. You'll probably still require a 'spotter' on Wednesday, this can be someone who stands on the side of the track, or someone else on the track. So bring a friend or make some quickly lol.

I'd be guessing not for this day. However I've been out there before when there's only be 2 or 3 bikes and cars, and they let us run together. Any more than that and they'll request we run separate 15 or 20 minute sessions.

While there are no checks on whether things are wired or removed at these open hire days, you are doing yourself and other users no favours if you don't do the minimum preparation & checks yourself....At least wire the sump bung and remove the mirrors. IMO the standard required should be that required for any club day.
Same goes for your gear too.

As far as sharing the track with cars goes, some years back we had an incident wih a pre 65 car who put a rider on the grass....he was put on the trailer pronto and I heard he lost his competition licence for 12 months....these things are taken seriously.

2)there are no checks on bikes and gear!

You've got the riding gear side of things sewn up nicely, as for wiring you sump plug, I think that'd be over kill for an open/track day but that said just go over bike and make sure all is well with things the sump plug, axles brakes etc.. Mirrors, if you can remove them then all the better, if not tape them up and perhaps fold them into the bike if it has that facility. non-taped plastic should be ok but anything glass should be taped up well.
