The sun, the rain, or the "It's sunny - oh wait, I think I'll rain - no, sunny!"?

Apparently there's storm warnings in place for the South Island, and gale warnings for everywhere else...

It's fucken torrential and REAL windy in Upper Hutt. I've got to take mum to the airport in a couple of hours so it'll be interesting to see how Wellington's fareing. I suspect it'll be a wasted trip.

Bit of a gentle zepher this neck of the woods. Birds grounded and that sort of thing. Time to go get the birthday pressy for Mrs Bonez. No idea what at this stage but I'm sure something suitable will be aquired. Maybe a cordless drill, impact driver or some such.

Had great weather for days until 3pm yesterday.

And it hasn't stopped raining since, just had to mop out the garagre, now I'll have to walk out there every time I want a Speights as the bottom of the carton is water-logged and soggy and the whole shebang woul end up on the deck if I tried to pick it up..

I should introduce you to 'Owd Rodger' exceptionally strong though deceptive ultra flat murky slightly warm ale, mushy pee's and other delights/trepedations of Yorkshire cuisine next time I'm down your way. You'll have to wear a cloth cap, mutter 'ay up luv more ecky thump' though.

A bit of a heavy downpour while I was out. Damn warm though. Jeans, work boots, gloves, helmet, riding jacket and a smile.
