    would enjoy doing these rides what time do you guys normally finish. Ive still got a 10pm curfew

    I went to Akaroa today, the road was good most of the way there with the exception of the downhill side to Barrys Bay from the hill top. They have been doing some resurfacing on the downhill lane about a kilometer from the hill top, bloody gooves in the road that catch your wheel and upset your lines, be wary of them as they are on some of the tight corners. Also there is a nasty bump just at the bottom of the Robinsons Bay hill, could be a tad upsetting for some.....

    Will be more traffic (read rental cars) out and about as well. So expect the ride to split up quite considerably.
