Oops I was wrong about tarp. Just read the instructions, all bikes to be pitted on tarp to avoid contamination..

I am now confused about armour. the guy at Morleys told me that as long as my arms are covered then I can wear what i like. I was going to wear my armoured jacket , but not sure what the requirement is now.

does anyone have any armour that I can borrow if my jacket is not any good???
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

    Knee armour is nice.
    Roost protection is nice.
Otherwise just your normal adv wear.

You can be the guy who wheels my bike to the start line if you want.

The more the merrier, should be fun.

We're extending the weekend. There's going to be 2 Sunday's and then jump straight to Tuesday.

    Longer weekend and no Monday.

    Win - Win.

I've got plenty if you don't want to buy one.

Shit. I shoulda used number "64A" or something

Paul S. said if we want we can bunch up at one end of the start line and agree to start together a bit after the main bunch goes, a race within a race. He suggested there were other ppl with adventure bikes that would be likely to join in.
    Cheers,

Not as good as topo and better than a noobie. Happy to help just as long as I don't have to change the rear tyre on a DR650. I've "got" enough weight to de-bead pretty much any other rim.

XR250's are a piece of cake. DR650 again maybe no so.

How do we find 'our' team ? do we just ride into the pit area or do we have to park with the common folk?
