Somewhere to park my bike in Coromandel

I need to find somewhere safe to park the bike up in either Coromandel or Whitianga for a couple of days whilst I head out to Opito bay with the family.

Don't ask the reason why - the wife knows...

I have heard that hedges are quite popular places to park bikes up there.
