I did a similar ride around the bays with a mate to akaroa on sunday leaving about 3pm though. It was a nice day out there. Lucky you didnt go over western valley as we were snaking all the way up.

Actually, there's some bad looking rain coming over the hills to the south so I'm out. It may get really nasty soon.

I've just ridden back from Oxford - its raining out there and in towards the port hills but dry in between. When conditions are doubtful as they are today

, why don't we just automatically postpone WNR to TH(ursday)NR and so on?

Little bit wet (spitting), little bit windy and a little bit cold in Addington. I would if someone else was keen. If not it might be a good idea to get out of work before it hits.
