    Star Insurance!

I'm with Star Insurance and they are brilliant.

    http://www.starinsurance.co.nz/

They are not the cheapest but still reasonable and they cover me for the track at no extra cost.

And the track is where an R6 belongs!!!

That sounds fine to me - State took about 3 months when my car got broken into. And they asked me "Do you want to be able to use the same key for the ignition and the driver's door?". I was too stunned to say anything.

I'm tired of this attitude. It shows a lack of regard for other users - the ones that may have to incur an expense from mistakes that you make. The road is a shared medium, and your accidents often don't just impact your wallet.

ps. Full motorcycle insurance is sometimes cheaper than third party motorcycle insurance.

    $12 a month?! Is that 3rd party?
No way anyone is insuring a bike at $144 pa.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

What a load of shit. Just because somebody doesn't have insurance doesn't automatically mean they're going to shirk their responsibilities.

Mine's with NAC and it is $12.64 per month so $151 per year for comprehensive insurance. Granted, it's a 250 and only worth about $2500...but still, NAC was much cheaper than other places.

And I thought CC was cheap (at under $300 it is, but...)
I'd best be checking out this other lot.

Kiwibike has come through for me again. Was told by another broker (not naming, but well known here) that they have the best quotes. Kiwibike was $40 cheaper.

Now, I'm not playing them against each other for $40 (Insurance is just over $1500), but since I'm already with Kiwibike... no brainer huh?

No, but i cant see may people forking out for a new merc, porsche or lambo if they hit it.

TBH compulsary insurance would be great for the public and bike community as a whole.

I do have 3rd party and did have full for ages. Now I only ride the bike on weekends, so its not worth it. Screw you and your holier than thou attitude. Fucking jerk-off. As for full being cheaper than 3rd, what fucking planet are you on kunt?

Ha ha the thieves in Woodville are so desparate they ripped off 4 plastic chairs from my garden just before Xmas, worth approx $7 on TM.

    Didn't bother claiming for them...

I'm with Protecta. $20 per month, comprehensive full cover on the Boulevard including 24/7 Roadside Assist.

I tried State, AMI and the local Suzuki dealer but all were at least twice the price of Protecta.
Protecta even insured the bike while it was in transit with BikeTranz.
