Morning gents, is Chris from Kapati a kiwirider? dude selling the KTM 950 SE on Tardme.

Or do any of you KBr's know the history of this bike?

Input from those in the know what be welcome, good or bad.

Maybe Chris Marer? Not sure he's on here. If it's his it's been pretty well trained - he's a quick rider.

Chris is a genuine good bastard and he generally looks after his gear well. Hes bloody quick all right but I've never seen him thrash a bike - he just doesnt slow down.....

Just ask him - I've always found him straight up and never seen him abuse machinery.

If it's the Chris I met on the MMMM a couple of years ago I didn't get the impression he was an abuser of machinery, he rides fast but the SE was very well looked after and he knows bikes well.

Clint would know better than me tho, maybe a PM would be a better place to discuss your concerns?

Yep, as above, I've only met Chris briefly on the MMMMM & the CCA. The bike looked well cared for.

I would if I knew how to PM him, will ring on his number and have a chat, just wanted to find out the low down first, nothin wrong with that!, I guess you could call that my own crisis management

Just a little concerned we were potentially discussing someones' character on a public forum, I'm sure there are plenty of people that know him that skim through this forum and, if it was me being discussed, I wouldn't like to find out about it that way.

Maybe I'm too sensitive?

cant be to many 950's that got most of the way up cnut hill

I would suspect that the bike would be well maintained and not thrashed - but not babied either

If you buy it I'll ride it down for you if you like

Chris did some work on the 2010 CCA pre rides on the SE, we did some quick riding in places but he definately wasn't thrashing or abusing it, it was spotless then as I took a while drooling over it clsoely.
