    Is smoking bad for you?

If smoking is bad for you, I am a dead man walking and my bike is to blame...
After 3 or 4 years sitting in a crate after throwing a rod, my Suzuki 4 cylinder mosquito fogger is now on the road! Got a warrant today! Very paranoid - cops everywhere and it isnt' regoed. Never seen so many cops aroudn in town and on the motorway. It as made worse when one followed my from Western Springs to Pt Chev and looked to be taking an interest, but I managed to lose him at the lights.
The RG500 is now a 400 :-( but at least it runs. I forgot how good they sound on song, and how absolutely frantic and manic they sound and not to mention the clouds of smoke I laid out the driveway this morning on the way to work.
It has the big radiator from RG500.com on it, so it is running cold so I need to tape up a bit of it.
Have to see when the BTFP rides leave from and take it out.

That smell evokes so many memories. The classics at Paeroa were fantastically pungent.

The rego was on hold, so the plate was still live, so no VIN issues.
Don't take it to VTNZ - they are morons and I have had trouble with them in the past and I wouldn't trust their monkeys to test the bike.
I took it to a garage in Auckland (TVS in Newton) who does my cars - all done and ok with a new tail light bulb. THe garage owner used to have LCs back in the day :-)

A couple of hundred k's ?? Couldn't you have passed him at any of the three service stations he would have had to pull into in that time? .

Sheeit! Only a Honda rider would be concerned with such trivialities.

Dont know if this is any interest to you but on the 'sella.co.nz' auction site is a complete RG400 gasket set for $215. Plus a RG500 oversize piston kit.
