    Mighty GN250

Something different on trade me. A GN250 fitted out with a side car. It looks quite tidy. Is in CHCH so the flat going down there may well suit it. Not sure I would want to head for the hills tho' with a full load. Forty years ago 250's /350's had sidecars fitted but they would have been a lot heavier than a GN. Wonder how it handles?

Heh, the dog appears to be enjoying it.
I suspect it would look a great deal more stupid if the sidecar were actually large enough to accommodate an adult human, though.

Link for those who can't be stuffed searching trademe.

Maybe more, that is a very expensive dog box... cheaper to buy a pair of roller skates and a leash

In Thailand I saw a lot of scooters (or very small motorcycles) fitted with sidecars that were pretty much just low flat cages with a wheel on the outside. A close look showed some to be made of welded re-bar.

Often they were used to transport goods, but sometimes they were full of a family. I saw one tourist load himself and his child - complete with baby stroller - into one.

I wanted to get a sidecar so I could take our dog along for rides (she's too big for a box on the back) but wasn't keen on having it permanently mounted.
