I slice a potato in half, and use 1piece to smear the visor with.
The other half i stick down my trousars, and smile at the ladies.

Plexus does a good job of clearing rain from the visor. Spray it on, wipe/rub it on like a cleaner, and it puts a dry slippery film on the outside of the visor. For best results, I make sure the visor is really clean before using the Plexus.

    Turtle wax ice.
Clean the outside of the visor then polish with a couple of coats of turtle wax ice.
Polls the water even in mist and light rain (although under about 40kph it doesn't blow off too well).
Works heaps better than the Nikwax stuff I tried.

My visor came with anti-fog coating which works amazingly well so can't help with the second part.
