    Bak 2 Sk00l

Well thats torn it now! Dang it!

Got the munchkins back in my lovely classroom - which was so quiet without them! Not doing much at the moment, just doing home partnership interviews with the year 13s ... two left to do.

Then the other lot tomorrow. Class looks as if some idiot (not me, I'm a complete idiot) has left a window open and some birds have come in and shat everywhere!

Good thing is that I can toss all the old work stuff out and new computers are going to be installed!

Now, where's me big bash bash stick?

Your mileage would have been close to zero while school was out, now it might actually rise, coz you have to communt every day.

You realise you are seriously tempting the biking gods with karmic balance? I know it sounds ridiculous, but even with my reduced milage, I'm still somehow clocking over my service intervals quicker than you ... and on multiple bikes ...

Quiet morning for me being a general gofer then whole afternoon of PD (Professional development, not pointless drivel although...did have to forcibly stop my eyes glazing over from time to time)

Took the car this morning to lug bits and bobs to the music office but from tomorrow - wheeee back on two wheels to work for me!

Ahhh, it is nice to be back though for a couple of days before being inundated with the rowdy masses.
I lahk to moove eet moove eet...

Oh for the love of empty school hallways ...

Here I sit in classroom empty,
clock on computer ticking over nicely -
    the wail and woe of senior students coming;
subjects failed, courses denied - oh fie, fie, fie!

    Trudging teachers head to theatre,
punished with professional development exercises -
    blindfolded and ignorant pleading masses.

Conducting interviews with tutor group members,
lovely faces unmarred by age or worries -

Wait till the new school year starts,
    Be pure! Be vigilant! Behave!

    Day 3 in the battlezone

    Sitrep : Situation highly volatile
Tangoes sighted and identified as hostile.
Situ is rapidly going from SNAFU to FUBAR and degenerating into TFUBAR.
    Advise rapid advance to rear.
    Airstrikes most appreciated.
    Over.
