Agreed. A proper system (like on the Connie - pretty sure there's more to it than a couple of fittings ) does increase braking distances if it kicks in.

I've had it kick in on rough roads (corrugations coming into a corner) which is pretty scary as all of a sudden there's no braking (really only for a fraction of a second but it doesn't feel nice). I'd still rather have it than not as the Connie's brakes are awesome and the ABS has also possibly saved an embarrassing moment in the wet...

Maybe if we had better roads...

It appears to be an adjustable pressure relief valve, calibrating that fucker would be interesting
Yeah, it's a queer idea, almost like a damping emulator that works backwards...

    Which caliper did we listed?
Bit of a fail on their behalf methinks.

I'm quite interested to feel an ABS system on a bike, although I'm to much of a namby pamby Honda rider to make it kick in.

    Whaddaya all think?
Still haven't thought of the exact top coat and or pearl yet. I'm thinking a subtle blue pearl to complement the epic sharp white? Will probably pick up some clear this week and then think about pearls.
    Any ideas?

Ah the fuckwit that had it before me ran into something or other, made a bloody big dent along the side of the nana wagon. Thought it would be cheapish to fix when I bought it, nope! Want to sell it anyway and get a wagon, she's cheap but too bloody small when you're renovating a house (well demolishing atm)

I'm not too good with paint to be perfectly honest, I've never had any training etc, but, dents are my thing I'll have a look next time I'm over? I expect to see a mansion when I am in Woodville next!

Just get bog, paint and wine. That's all I did Yeah, I'm going to leave the side covers black too, like the later model CB400. I'm not too sure what to do with seat colour yet, maybe a dark grey?

Anyone going to the Martinborough fair?

yeh, I'm hoping to have the cowl molds bogged 2moro (2 part builders bog is a bit more interesting to use!), maybe try the plastic overlay on fri...

grey sounds good, you may be able to get different colored stitching or trim too, seen a few on hawks which look mint

I could do with a spray gun I'm far too tight to buy any spray equipment at the moment.

Wouldn't mind gibbing the garage make it a bit tidier. Don't think the boss would approve tho.

Cheers man, I'll find the right paint for the right price though.

Not since I have jetted it. Rides too well, it's totally changed the bike. Now it's pretty too! and that's just the base coat....without being flattened back.
