    Hi

Rough budget numbers allow $2,000 by Air, by sea allow $1,000 or so. You may have to build buy a crate. Must have for sea, may use by air depends who you believe regarding the risk of your bike being damaged by not being in a crate.

You will need a Carnet if bringing it back - allow $400.

    Cheers

    Shipping to Oz

Yeah Mate, It costs just under $400 for a carnet plus you gotta deposit a carnet bond of 15% of bike value. ( contact Alan Chesterman, AA Auckland).
Shipping cost is not much...about 500 one way...most of the rest of the cost is port fees, customs and MAF inspections. Depends on the weather and the mood of the customs men... we sent 4 bikes in 1 container and got 4 different prices ??? PM me for more info.. taking bikes back to Oz in July if you want to tag along..Cheers

We shipped our bikes to oz and back in 2009 (air freight over, sea freight back), and it was about $2000 per bike all up (including all the fees, paperwork, insurance etc).

We used Go Logistics. PM Clint640 if you want more details, he organised the shipping, so knows more about it than I do.
