    I'll have what he's having

What he really needs is a bit of "classic" riding.

I went to try out my new toy again today, switched it on, but didn't start it filming .................. an hour or so later

    Ahh! So much better! Thanks!

Hey Gloplg, how was your ride today? I followed you all the way from the Wheatsheaf to Governors bay. Was in a friends car coming home from rehearsal ...

Being white and all I would have thought it would be the milk man rather than the drugs man!

I was once sitting on a beach in the bahamas and people keep coming up offering their wares: drinks, food, hookers and drugs, anything you want, they'll bring it to the beach for you.
I jokingly asked for a Harley and the drugs man said "Gimme an hour!" and turned to go. I had to run after him, he thought I was serious!

Definition of "Classic riding": Banging someone twice your age? I mean, out on a banger twice your age? I mean, out for an age on an old banger?

Wait, what was the question again?

"Classic" riding. Not "Classic Riding". Young grasshopper one must get it right!!

Anyway your R series BMer has genetics dating from the 1920's so surely that makes it a "Classic" ride!!!!!!::

One has to wonder why the hell he was in Akaroa and not down at Monowai for the National Rally. I look forward to seeing it around at some point.

Very interesting TA. Are you surreptitiously suggesting that those inclined towards riding outside the square might consider adding "river crossing" to their skillset?

I'm not sure if its still there but I recall a crossing at Coes Ford on the way to Selwyn Huts where we might "get our feet wet" (pun intended ) on a Wednesday or Sunday, a few minutes ride from Tai Tapu.

There had been whispers of what's Lees Valley like a wee while ago... Sunday guys I think.
I'll have more of the place as a whole uploaded soon..ish.

Don't know what else there is near Coes Ford but Coes Ford itself is now one of those half bridge half ford things where the water passes through pipes under the road most the time and only occasionally goes over the top.
