Is it just me, or does anyone else reckon Ron Perlman is the spitting image of Duke Nukem in this programme?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

How 'bout Henry Rollins character, eh?
It's no wonder Katy Sagal won Golden Globes this year.

This series is going to be a goody!

I thought I recognised the Pres...of course - Beauty and the Beast!!

Ah - the glorification of american biker culture. The honest criminal, the lovable rogue... These people kill people and run guns to others who kill people? Anti hero's or the normalisation of criminals? Its a bloody wonderful HD advertising medium but at the general expense of motorcyclings image I suspect... (not that I really care)

I dunno - I personally wont watch it on priciple but then again I have very little time for TV. I watch Time Team, some historical programs (I enjoyed the one on the stock market crash and the medievil mind) and feck all else. At my age I aim to become a little smarter every year and crap like that has the opposite effect...

Of course .. they are portraying the 1% of motorcyclists who cause trouble and give the rest of us a bad name ...

I thought i would hate it but instead I am hooked... sure it is a bit sanitised for general consumption but in spirit its not a long way from the truth ( in my own experience anyway).
Its not supposed to be a doco, its just pure entertaining fiction.

Katey Segal is absolutely superb as the matriach. Brilliant

Jax is a lovely toy boy, but waaaaaaaaaay too pretty for my tastes.

Now the irish guy Chibs...hmmmmmmmmmmm oh yeah baby.

And Bobby, I know so many guys like him...totally real character.

Thumbs up Sons Of Anarchy series three

The Series Three starts of Son Of Anarchy on Wednesday the 18th
    Channel 3 at 9:25pm

This one looks like it's going to be even better than the second series

    But it isn't (sorry).

Without giving anything away, you know when drama series that start with a theme, after the 2nd or 3rd series have less and less to do with that theme, and become more like a generic soap?

I thought the same and may not watch the next series. Action is likely to be replaced with mush.
    Here for the ride.
