I could not make it.[/QUOTEN
Its still the favorite at the moment:-) I took ffriman's ninja 650 for a blat round the carpark
sat on a couple of others....
will go take the gsxr for a longer ride and see how I go![]()
Not yet I havn't, and yeah i think the 1000 is just a tad too big for me
although just been chatting to colemans and might go in and try the sv 1000![]()
That was pretty fun, never put any thought into low speed manoeuvring before and realised leaning into the turns adapting a road riding body position was handicapping me big time. Doing counter leaning totally changed things. Good opportunity to get used to the new bike too.
...Full throttle till you see god, then brake.
Hmmmmm

Yea-Ha
Everyone has an opinion.. mine can be found here Riding Articles
An extra 20 kgs wont make much difference. Its the seat height difference that will make the most difference (if any).
The torque will be quite scary for prolly 8 months (until you get used to it...)
The nice thing about V-twins is that the power delivery is nice and constant (it can be rocket like at all speeds, but it just depends on how much your wrist is twisted...).
Just dont expect any decent fuel economy...
