I'm loving the white one. Bugger me why the factories don't make em like that - sure they need indicators and a few bits but they can be micro LED ones to retain the clean lines.

Have you ever ridden a Buell? Sounds like your predisposed to like it so you probably will. They feel quite different but for you, (and for your use) the only negative I can think of might be the clutch pull. They vary a bit, AJ put a hydraulic conversion on his XB 'cause it was a bit hard, but mine wasn't bad standard.
Can't go too far wrong, they're not as doggedly reliable as a Jap machine but they're not far behind, reasonably cheap to own, good commuter and I've toured with a couple and they do well.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
One of these helps with the clutch pull, http://www.easypullclutch.com/
just so happens i've got a spare one here.......well not really a spare,am keeping it for when i get my second Buell....wheres that lotto ticket.
Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.
'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.
Ah guess not - as crank case was different
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
Really comes down to which one will fit her bestestest.
If a Triumph...A1 but personally I'd go for the Kwaka
Well you see I dont think that the Buell XB12 is such a left field option after three months of ownership of a new XB12SS I find that I ride It more than my speed triple its just auraly(sp) a more pleasurable experience dont get me wrong I also love my Speed triple but the Buell is just more fun to ride.
You have to do it!
Even putting my bias aside for a moment i'd agree with DI on this, lord help you if you need to buy parts for the Triumph and while Japanese bike aren't exactly what you'd call cheap to repair and so forth Triumph's (generally) are in a whole different league of expensive.
Amazing the number of people that talk out their arses about such things...
Firstly, if you buy a modern Triumph you won't need to buy parts - unless the worst happens and you don't have insurance. And second, have you seen the price of genuine Honda parts recently?
Oh and DMNTD, +1 on the A1 Bonnies - sharp as fuck
If the buell in post 29 turns out to be the one we saw in Wellington several years ago then its more than likely that will be the purchase. There is a very clear height difference (lower) between the rear hugger and seat when I looked at the 08' version also for sale.
But I am not the one who will be buying so who knows what will end up in the shed.
