Well, since we're in fantasy land...
Justice..
Full disclosure of previous offending in courts.
A system monitoring Judges and accountability.
Right to silence removed.
Night courts for your standard drive through 'traffic/minor' offences, to speed up court process for victims families waiting to have hearings seen to, the lengths some people have to wait for a sense of closure is sheer torture.
Eligibility for Bail for serious/violent/recidivist offenders removed.
Review of the Bill of Rights Act..! I won't go over specific points.
Uninhibited, censureship free - freedom of speech for victim impact statements!!
Less frequent parole hearings for those who have to suffer them until the offender is released.
Compulsary Military training as soon as kids leave school for two years, regardless of age. (lol, maybe starting from from 13/14 years?)
ter·ra in·cog·ni·taAchievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.

How many members are on here? I don't know. Lets pretend it is 10,000.
So you would suggest we have a parliament with all these people in it instead of 100 or so MP's?
Anyone can stand as an independent MP (pointless exercise in my book). Anyone can form a new party, and put up there own people. Only has an impact under MMP if the voting is close (which it has traditionally been).
Small parties generally don't accomplish much.
So, nah, probably KBs could not run the country, and there is no indication that if they did get power that they have the skills to actually manage and run such a large entity.
O.K Gene yourve got a job, what bike & in what colour do you want?
Sounds all very common sense to me.....but I struggle to think of a good common sense policy from the lot weve had ,what was it that Mashman called 'em?
Judges can't be fired at the moment - because they claim if they had to decide over someone with a case of power they could be removed.
So lets change it drastically - and make the position like an MP - they have to be voted in for a fixed period of time. If the people like what they do they get voted in again, and if they don't, well they wont be presiding over any more cases.
You would suddenly see a drastic change in sentencing ...
Parliamentary Services won't buy motorbikes for members so their off my chrissy card list.
I rest my case.
This thread (and any other packed at random of this forum) would suggest that, as a group, KBers would struggle to organise a piss up in brewery.
