Maybe if you haven't just been through one of the most terrifying times of your life.

Well yes I was in Los Angels in 1987 when they had a magnetude 6.1 earthquake in a high rise hotel that was swinging. but fortunatly there was no real major damage still 6 people lost their lives.

Maybe if your city isn't damaged significantly. Maybe if you still have access to clean water, working toilets, and power. Maybe if you didn't have to wait for hours to hear from loved ones. Maybe if someone you loved or just even knew hadn't been killed.

No fortunatly I have not had to go through that experience. I sincerly hope that you have not lost any loved ones or close freinds.

And maybe if you're just a wanker yourself. Tosser.

I wont respond to this in kind as I realise that you will be under incredible stress and anguish at the moment and will probably still have more to come but like I said I hope sincerly that you have not lost any family, freinds, pets or have any major property damage.You have my best wishes for the weeks ahead.

My mates down their said they managed to not spill their jugs during the quake. So lucky they're all good. Thoughts go out to everyone suffering through such a horrific ordeal.

That reminds me...
Partner was talking to friends in Chch and a "youff" had appeared in boi-ricer car then started doing donuts + burnouts. Locals not too impressed, understandably under a bit of stress...
Lynch-mob quickly forms but boi-ricer spots them and races off... straight into some ground that had opened during the quake.
He quickly gets out of his car and legs it away from the locals.

My mother in law is head of HR at NZ customs and she has been making breakfast for the customs workers, many of whom have been working 20 hours straight.

Hope he and his family are all right. They have put me up more than once and look after me well when I've being riding down there. Thinking about ya all down there Dudes and Dudettes.

Took a ute load of BBQs and full gas bottles up there today.Been up there so many times in the last few days the ute almost knows its own way up there.Mums had some positive news in that they are setting up a 111 center in Rangiora so she will soon be back to work,she so wants to help people but at her age theres not much she can do and sees going back to work as a way of doing so.Edit,forgot to mention i stopped for petrol and whilst doing so a bloke approached me and asked about all the barbies,i told him that they had come from myself and a few mates etc and he gave me $50 for gas,tried to refuse it but he simply threw it in the ute window and walked away so i left it at that.Good on him whoever he was.
