Which is why I really dislike these guys. They get people putting too much faith in their predictions and then spend months worrying until the day arrives ... and then passes.
I have had people at work taking that whole week off around that day just because of his prediction.

Its not Ken Rings science or beliefs re moonquakes, but a commonly held alternative view familiar to many for thousands of years.

Knockers of moon and celestial influence upon the earth WILL BE THEIR OWN UNDOINGS FROM IGNORANCE not Ken Ring messaging old sciences TO drongoes.

BTW.... geonet are now including celestial imputation in their graphs!!! so Ken has finally influenced mainstream science

I had booked a week away over that time before I knew about his prediction - I'm almost tempted to cancel it and blutak my plastic jesus to the ledge.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

you do know what "Science" is, right? and that the scientific method is the cleverest thing we as a species have ever invented? and that what the criminal Ring is peddling is not "science" but scientific sounding bullshit?

What I want you to do is, whenever you see or hear the criminal Ring speaking, replace what he says with an equivalent length passage of particularly inane technobabble from Star Trek: Voyager, or a later series of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It makes just as much sense as what the criminal Ring says.

To whit: "There will be an earthquake in Christchurch of magnitude 7.0 on March 20 2011 because the portside warp nacelle dilithium crystal chamber shielding is experiencing temporal drift due to a phase imbalance in its flux couplers, which is interacting with the biogenic shielding. We can't damp down that phase imbalance which will result in a colossal release of energy on March 20"

Pick your accent, B'Elanna Torres or Montgomery Scott.

Why do I refer to the criminal Ring as "the criminal Ring"? Obvious innit? He is whoring out his lies for profit. He's worse than the fucking looters Judge Crosbie locked up.

Three things I want to say specifically about this:

    1. It is not an English sentence.

    2.

    3. You've got to be taking the piss.

    He is Satan incarnate...

BTW a few hundred years ago, when mainstream science was told the earth was round, they killed such heretics

Imagine the sort of 'science' that gets bandied around in Muslim nations....bit like in the west still eh?

I have been to Kens house and met him. He is a pagan, a druid, lived in a mobile home for years, and cares little for money

Nope. But you have to follow the collective consciousness? Is being in conflict with the mainstream philosophies too scary? If you manage to extricate yourself from the matrix, have a good look around before you get swallowed up again in the illusion

What the hell? In the immortal words of Jules Winnfield "Then allow me to retort"

Your BTW (from which I think I am supposed to infer somehow that because what the criminal Ring says is "anti science" or "against the mainstream view": correct?) actually proves my point about the validity of the scientific method. Hypothesis is the earth is flat, carried on the backs of four elephants, who stand atop a giant turtle, swimming through the ether. Astronomy (not to mention simple logic: like what does the turtle eat, elephant shit? what do the elephants eat?) demonstrates firstly that the earth is spherical, THEN that it rotates about the sun. See where I am going with that? As the hypothesis is tested, the conclusions are proved, or disproved, another hypothesis is developed, then proved, or not, and knowlege proceeds. Sometimes there are reversals, sometimes it is incorrect: but the validity of the method is that the errors are recognised (sometimes eventually, even grudgingly) then corrected, then the process rolls along.

Let me just address a point I know you will make in rebuttal: "Oh, but its just a THEORY, right, and better theories come along" Yes: if the word theory is used in the same sense in both parts of that sentence: In fact the same argument is raised by creationists and "intelligent" (yes, they're sneer quotes) design proponents. "Oh, its a THEORY of evolution, and a theory of intelligent design, and they both have the same validity. Well, no: because one is a true scientific theory, the product of the winnowing process that is the actual scientific method, and the other requires you take certain assumptions, and believe in them, just because you have to. That is a castle built on sand. and having seen what happens when you build on sand, i.e. liquefaction, I'll take the science any day.

By the way, the reference to "better theories" above? We have them: Seismology, Geology, Geomorphology, physics, mathematics. And their proponents (their "Druids" if you will) not only outnumber the criminal Ring, they also say you cannot predict with the certainty he is about the event he is predicting.

I have no idea what sort of science is taught in Muslim nations. Or indeed what a "Muslim nation" might be: Saudi Arabia? Libya? Irrelevant for present discussion I suggest. Define your terms, state your argument, then we shall proceed.

As for Ring personally: the fact he is a "pagan" a "Druid" or whatever is, I suggest, more proof of my proposition than yours.
