I don't have an L plate?! Or a WOF (well it runs till August or something but the actual WOF fell off along with one of my number plate screws).

Guess I'll just say my license is in my bag... it's a restricted I swear! You really going to make me try and find it? Wait what are you saying?! I have ear plugs on...

Bloody hard times already and the cunts show no mercy.

Just think of it as exam, except in the real world, where there are sometimes actual consequences for when you fail.

They will wait. They have all day, and apparently nothing much else to do.

Edit: It may even provide them with additional amusement.

You can get a new wof label you just have to go back to where it was issued and get a new one written out or a vtnz. If you have your last wof form that will help when you go to get a new label as well. The L plate i only used one for my restricted test but i was fortunate enough to not get caught. But seems like the police are targeting us a bit more now than what they were last year.

Probably because they found out that there were cocks riding well outside their license conditions on clapped out no rego, no wof bikes with bald tyres.

Of course, it's the only way to keep on living for some of us broke as fuck students. It's just now he won't have any money to get that wof and rego that he was going to get anyway and consequently will have a very keen eye out for the filth. Fines are not the answer, it's just an evil regressive tax system.

Having said this though they have indeed reduced the fine per offence from 400 to 100 and instead increased demerits, which at least is on the right track.

    It's us and them.

Actually, it's other road users and your mate.

No WOF. Bike cc rating outside of his proven ability, and to top it off bald tyres. What kind of leniency should he be shown? How many times have the cops heard "I was gonna get it next week au cuz".......It's not a surprise when this stuff comes up, it's called taking responsibility and forward thinking. If he can't afford to keep it running then he should get a smaller and therefore cheaper bike which meets the licence restrictions which are there for a reason.

The rego I could'nt care about, the rest, well, all safety issues so what a cock. Especially the tyres part that's just ignorance. He made his bed now he can lie in it.

Thats kinda like being lined up in the sights of a cannon, offering a ball of your own shit and complaining about the resulting stink.

You couldn't be more wrong there. The 250 rule means the only decent 250cc bikes are overinflated, ageing pieces of shit. For 5 grand you can get a 1990 CBR250 that is simply falling apart. Or pay 7 or 8 and get a piece of shit Korean Hyobag. It's ludicrous and it's cheaper to get a quality bigger bike that will never let you down and won't fall apart on you.

The license rules are bullshit and you know it, arguing that makes you as bad as the paper pushers behind the desk that make them. Everyone knows the old 2 and 4 stroke 250cc's are faster and more dangerous to ride than a lot of bigger bikes out there and simply obliterate any ninja or hyobag. How can these bikes be ridden on the same license class? It's a crock of shit.

Yep you are completely right. There is no reasoning, they're all too expensive and the current people are the only ones that have been there and done that, and no-one ever keeps their 250's........ This of-course http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-357738035.htm and this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-358203925.htm are completely unreliable and no good for learning on, and you should be able to just ride a GSXR1000 from day one.

Smaller tyres are'nt cheaper either, neither is the rego cost of a bike under 600cc, nor is the fuel consumption........

    Carry on.
