I think the vehicle would/should have been ordered off due to it being unwarrantable, the damage to the front window would be impeding the drivers vision and is over the 5 mm limit, Smith and Smith could have been called and Raji could have injected his special rasin per the telly add.

These folks did not run from bodies in the streets, they had a few bricks fall on their car, they are claiming they panicked and that lasted for the next what 3-4 days? BS.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

I agree that this vehicle should not be on the roads - But somehow this time is different and to judge these people I think we need to walk in their shoes.
Ride it until the wheels fall off...

True but the police and all the other observers of that vehicle and their behaviour by using it on the road could have corrected the situation.

As some have said they took the long road home so their panic claim doesn't ring true!

The news report did try to make them out as hero's in my opinion too!

Compared to the hysteria over how "dangerous" roadworthy motorcycles are ACC should be seen to publicly condemn these peoples unlawful actions and those of police observers who did nothing too!

My tyres are fucked, I am missing bolts from the frame of my bike.

Not only do I still ride it.....I haven't crashed.

Turns out it must be on the driver/rider to make something unsafe eh?

You must be a limp dick

Nice to see the police don't give a shit according to their spokesmen.

Man I'm sure the boy racers are going to be using these two idiots as an excuss to drive their shit boxes.

Seems to me a good many people who experienced the same thing DIDN'T do what he did.

    Hush now.

They can't get over the supermarket speed humps so they're going to struggle on the local roads

Talk about a kb over reaction. What they did was no worse than riding in the rain visibility wise.
Is it more dangerous than doing a 24 hour ride?
The risk of falling off your high horse is greater.

    Big non event.
