Racing just don't get any better than this! Road or dirt!

Thought I snap up a separate thread so maybe some of the roadies might get to appreciate the bash and crash the off road boys seeing as how I have a foot in both camps!

    Here enjoy the last lap!!

I'm not really a Chad reed fan but I seem to think he did a reasonably standard block pass on Jams Stwewart and he came down in him off the top of the berm when he could have stayed high or crossed him!

    Dunno what do ya think??

Na just watched it again Reed left him nowhere to go?? Far out did ya see that pass JS did on Reed! Talk about being caught in a a Yamaha sandwich!!

Far out they are hard at it this series good stuff!!

I dunno, reed came across pretty quick, dunno if stewart would have seen him before commiting to that line. Bit of argy bargy on both parts probably. Good final lap! Think we may see better this year in motoGP though...

Reed didn't even try to turn, went straight up the side of the berm,it was payback for Stewarts pass

Reeds got some HUGE balls to do that considering if he gets injured his whole team suffers BIG TIME

Good on him bout time someone pulled bubba of his throne

Ill be buying two two gear to support him
Even on the old ones if you dont race serious and you wanna just go do the odd club day and smoke everyone on a big old 5hundy it great and if you get beaten you have a handful of excuses

Yeah he did he was about to reapply the power as he was hit another 1/2 a second he would have been clear was a good move js should have taken the line cr used if he really wanted to defend to position and made cr are go wide taking the long way round.

Aw come on Barty,i just watched it over and over, there was never enough room there to pass........as he cut the corner too much,he only ended up facing the right way after Stewart hit him

Theres a head-on camera shot and if js7 couldnt see reed well then theres a problem for him. Couldt he not see Jason Thomas directly infornt of him the week before?

Theres been alot of passes similar in all classes, but none have gone as far because other riders have avoided a crash, but if only js7 looked up and saw what was there he could have delayed it slightly and cut under reed. Then again if reed wasnt on the outside of blose he it may not have had to come to that as well.

I think reed did what he thought he had to do(js7 thought he had to jump on reeds bike to stop him), and no one is injuried, roll on next week.

Anyone know if Daytona will be on sky?

Reed's interview on Moto-X Online was interesting, blaming himself for leaving the big gap in the pass JS threw on him first. Then saying there was nothing malicious or underhanded in his intention during his on Stewart and that he'd expect James to try the same pass on a last lap.

the difference between Reeds pass and Bubba's is the fact that after Bubba cut off the line, Reed got off the gas, where as when Reed cut off Bubba line Bubba kept it pinned and the contact happened,

and to go that wide on the last lap is pretty stupid, anyone that would not try a move like Reed did will never win a SX main

Yeah but does Stewart feel the same way? Can't find an interview for him regarding that race.

Yeah you could clearly see in the slowmo, Chad was in the way and Stewart just nailed it from 2 meters back.

    Great race!!!

    Lightbulb

I love the commentators line after Stewart passes Reed and a couple or corners later gets close: "He missed him!"
