Before I bought my Busa I travelled 3 hours to Taumaranui to look at & take one for a test ride. The salesman got the keys & started it in the showroom then put the keys away. Bewildered I walked outside & was followed and told they were not interested in trading my current steed. I suited up & told him I had no interest in trading it & wanted a cash sale. I didn't hear his reply with my helmet now on, headed home & bought the Busa a week later in Invercargill.
Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow arent just the 4 cycles of an engine
Had a similar experience with an Auckland shop, though I was looking to trade.
I wasn't overly happy with the trade price offer and said ''round that up to bla bla and we got a deal''...answer was no. Suggested I sell it privately and go back and see them when its sold. I sold it privately, got about $2.5K more than the trade price and bought a new bike elsewhere. I know that trade prices are lower but, how good must the bike trade have been three years ago to let a sale go?
Must sell shit loads of busa' in Taumaranui, sure it has a best road to cruise out of town, but wtf.
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
