    Full monty NZSBK Superbike

OK, frustration has finally got the better of me so on the block is the awesome bike that had me enduring months in the doghouse with the missus and was going to last me for the forseeable future.

I can only make 3 Winter rounds this season (less if work/life intervenes again) and despite my best efforts/planning I just can't get to the track often enough to do myself or the bike justice, so it's time I woke up, smelt the petrol, and picked up something more appropriate for a very part-timer. I'm thinkin' BEAR's or Post Classic's, which will give a few more racing opportunities and not against guys who could race at World Superbike level. I'm definitely not desperate as worst case scenario is it's still one of the best race bikes in the country and a farkin' hoot to ride.

Enough waffle, down to nuts and bolts:

GSXR1000K7 built by NZ's winningest bike engineer/legend, Ray Clee.

    Ohlins 25mm NIX fork cartrides,
Ohlins TTX shock, (cartidges/shock freshened/built up by CKT 5 rides ago)
    WP steering damper

A full fat RCM Stage 3 engine that Robbie Bugden used to win NZSBK championship
    -Yoshi STG-R cams
    -Yoshi adjustable cam sprockets
    -Yoshi valve springs/cotters/Ti retainers
    -Yoshi head gasket
    -Yoshi second air blind kit
-Yoshi main clutch springs/reaction springs/clutch plates
    -Yoshi velocity stacks
    -Yoshi alloy oil breather/catch tank
    -Yoshi R77 full exhaust
    -BMC air filter
    etc etc

Yoshi Em-Pro ECU, gives ultimate trackside control of fuel/igntion mapping (2 x switcheable onboard maps), braking assist, quickshifter (dynojet sensor included but not fitted), traction control (revs based) etc, software and cable included.
    Yoshi race wiring loom
    Yoshi spark plugs

    Yoshi rearsets
    Vortex clip-ons
    Vortex lightweight front fairing/instrument brace
    Billet "roll-a-click" levers
    Stomp-grip
    Keyless lightweight fuel cap
Armour Bodies fairings with a mega dollar paint job (the "black" in the photo's is a black/candy red/metallic very difficult to capture)
    Dukic (Yoshi-type) +2mm swingarm eccentrics
    Quick turn throttle
    Braided lines
    Oggy-type knobs and engine protectors
    520 chain and multi sprockets

Brand new set of Pirelli slicks

And the un-marked road gear, including tank, owners manual etc.

Note: km's is a bullshit (but entitrely appropriate) figure as actual mileage is unknown

$16000 for this lot is cheap for a bike that hasn't had much use and would have cost $40-50k to build from scratch.

There are many options here as I also have spares for Africa, accumulated for a 2011 Nationals campaign that other things in life conspired to throw cold water on. So I also have spare:

    Front/rear wheels
Unobtainium Yoshi "kit" dual tri-oval Ti exhaust
    Front and rear OEM subframes
Complete set of Billy's nice Yoshi-copy fairings, freshly pro-painted, including tank
    Rearsets
    Clip-ons
    Brake master
    Brake/clutch Levers
    Etc

Spares are available at extra cost, but I'll do a sharp deal for what would be a fantastic race "package" all inclusive, or mix and match to suit your needs. Not interested in selling spares unless bike sells.

Yeah, sorry 'bout those, it's all I've got out here at work. If I recall correctly I'd just dressed her up in her new party frock (fairings) and despite being nearly dark I thought I better snap something before heading off to HD at some rude hour the next morning. You should have seen them before I cranked up the brightness etc! I'll sort something better next week...or not, I'm almost hoping it doesn't sell.

Hey, you guys could use the donk in your sidey, and flog the rest, it would work out to be some farkin' cheap horsepower.

I'll need to test ride it in a week and a half for both days. If I can get the lap record by more than a second, I'll buy it.

Stopping racing? I don't seem to be able to start this last year, and things won't be much better for the next one. Nah, still keen as. I can qualify OK but I'm scared sooner or later I'm gonna get in Stroudy's/Craig's/Robbies way at Nat's or Street meets but if I don't enter then I don't get any racing or the chance to get up to speed with just 2 or 3 club meets a year, so I'm kinda snookered.

So I'm thinking that a decent BEAR's or Post Classic bike (maybe even F3) will give me more options at Club and Street meets, SOT etc and with similar part timers (if someone would kindly kneecap Choppa and/or Glen W)

Nah, I'd much rather watch you wrassling the RF over the bridge section, it's gonna be the highlight of the weekend.
